Education is an integral part of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s mission. Our education programs offer fun, interactive educational experiences for all ages – from infants to the young at heart!
Whether you are an individual, a family, a teacher or group leader, we offer programs designed to meet your needs and interests — and connect you with the natural world.
Family Learning Adventures
Education is an integral part of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s mission. Our education programs offer fun, interactive educational experiences for all ages – from infants to the young at heart! Whether you are an individual, a family, a teacher or group leader, we offer programs designed to meet your needs and interests — and connect you with the natural world.
Register your child for these exciting and educational virtual zoo camps! Kids will interact virtually with animals and staff here at the zoo and participate in games, activities and crafts. Our Zoo Camp instructors are experienced, enthusiastic professionals who make learning fun! Activities will include video tours of areas of the zoo that are currently closed, live animal meet and greets and hands-on art projects.
Zoo to You offers education programs on a variety of topics brought to you virtually. Sample subject areas include adaptations, habitats and endangered species. Our programs are designed for specified age groups and grades according to the New York State Learning Standards. We have programs available for ages 3 through adult.
